The Regenerative Facial, Step by Step

The regenerative facial pairs microneedling with a growth factor serum. Two steps, one visit, and the second step is what distinguishes it.

How it runs

The visit opens with an assessment of your skin and what you want from it. The skin is then cleansed and numbed.

Microneedling comes next, using the SkinStylus device to create controlled micro-injuries at a set depth. The injury is the point. It triggers the body's own wound-healing response, which is what builds collagen and elastin.

With those channels open, the skin is infused with PDGF, a platelet-derived growth factor serum from Ariessence. Growth factors are signaling molecules. Their job is to tell fibroblasts to get to work.

A barrier product goes on at the end, and you leave with aftercare specific to what was done.

Why PDGF rather than PRP

The older version of this treatment uses platelet-rich plasma, drawn from your own blood and spun down in the room. PRP works, but its potency depends on the blood it came from, which varies between patients and between visits. A manufactured PDGF serum arrives at a known concentration every time.

It also means no blood draw, which shortens the appointment and removes a step some patients would rather skip.

What to expect

Texture and tone respond first. Fine lines and shallow acne scarring soften over the following weeks as collagen remodels, which is slow by nature. This is not a single-visit answer to deep scarring, and a provider should tell you that before you book rather than after.
